Share Your Story.

We want to use this opportunity to share our unique stories with the public, so they can know why HHS is so important. Tell us why you care about HHS and what is preventing HHS agencies from keeping people safe and healthy. We want to hear from current and former HHS employees, partner organizations, and people who have benefitted from HHS services.

The information you include may be posted on saveHHS.org, and passed to our advocates to help them share our unfiltered words.

We may also will share the stories that highlight our work with social media creators, traditional media, and Congress.

If you have any questions or issues, please email hhsunited@savehhs.org.

Submission option type 1: Written essay

Fill out the questions. Consider adding a relevant photo.

Submission option type 2:

Video or audio essay.

Videos that include your face are the most impactful, but audio, or audio tied to video of something personal to you (e.g. your dog running in the yard) can also be powerful.

Videos of you should be well lit. Natural lighting is best - face a window or go outside. You can also face a lamp if you need.

Video format recommendation:

  1. Start with a cold open, anything about you, or your work. Then introduce yourself however you wish (you can include your name or leave it out). Refrain from using your professional title if you are still at HHS because you are speaking in a personal capacity.

  2. State, "I am speaking in my personal capacity."

  3. Prompts - answer as many as you wish:

    a) Tell us about yourself and your work. How did you first become interested in your field of study or advocacy? Tell us about your connection to HHS, and what you love about HHS's programs in a way your neighbor would understand.

    b) Personal and Professional Impacts. How has the administration prevented you from serving your country (if working at HHS)? Are there services that you receive from HHS that have been blocked or delayed?

    c) How can we rethink public health, research, and HHS to better serve everyday people? What are you hopeful for?
